In Loving Memory of

    ~ Coty ~

Coty's Favorite Spot....Laying with one of the Kids....

Coty crossed Rainbow Bridge June 7, 2000. It was a horrible shock for us to lose him at the young age of just over a year. Coty was just coming 'into his own'. He was such a beautiful boy and so devoted to his family.

Coty came into our lives at a time when my family needed him most. He gave us so much joy and happiness. He was our constant companion and shoulder to cry on when we needed comforting. He always sensed when something was bothering his family and he'd wiggle his way on to a lap and give his 'kisses' til he'd bring a smile to our faces. I will miss his cold, wet nose burrowing under my neck each night in bed as he snuggled and cuddled with me. Coty's 'children' will miss his crazy playful ways, the way he pounced on their laps when he wanted his 'bum scratch", but he'll live on in their hearts and mine forever.

Coty may be gone from our lives but never from our hearts....We love you Coty...Our hearts are heavy but our wonderful memories of all you meant to us will brighten our lonely days.

    Rainbow Bridge
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.

Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.

For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.

On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.

No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.

Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.

They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they stop, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
    For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.

The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over together.

*My Daughter asked that I do this page to help ease her pain at the loss of her constant companion.
She loved Coty very much...he was always by her side.
